Archmage is a sidescroller 4X strategy game built with Unreal Engine 4 using a 3D to 2D workflow.
Your character, the Archmage, is tasked with assigning workers to build, defend, expand, & gather resources for your citadel. You have magic abilities to draw upon, but will need to stay on top of managing the economy & army, while expanding outwards.
Below are some very early initial test shots comparing orthographic vs. perspective cameras. More details as well as updated screenshots and video, coming soon.
