Internal project for the development of Rangle.io's new corporate website using a design system approach with a JAMstack technical implementation running on Contentful, React + Gatsby, & Netlify.
Responsibilities included leading the development effort with a team of varying size from 2 to 6 developers; establishing best practices, development & testing workflows, & code reviews; implementing a design system approach using Styled System & Styled Components; accessibility compliance to WCAG 2.1 standards to meet AODA guidelines; test driven development with Jest & Enzyme; leveraging Storybook as part of the development workflow & internal showcase of design system approach; working closely with the Design team on the design system & componentizeation of features; working closely with the Marketing team to meet their business needs with integrating the components as content types including adding specific variants as needed in Contentful CMS.
